EMSP Annual Congress, 13-15 May 2009, Brussels
The annual Congress organized by the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform took place on 13-15 May 2009 in Brussels, at the Crowne Plaza City Centre.
Organizers have proposed to bring the audience's attention some important presentations of well known speakers :

Important points reffering to MS from the European Commission and European Parliament representatives;

MS European Barometer results;

Results of the European Barometer MS;

The European Code of Multiple Sclerosis - a life policy;

National High Level Round Table - the way forward;

MS-ID project and the EU Public Health Programmes.
You can view all the presentations from the Congress visiting the website: http://ms-in-europe.com/news/ Participants who took part in the work of this Congress were executives of national MS societies, key staff and volunteers responsible for solving problems of health services provided to persons with multiple sclerosis, national project coordinators MS-ID, neurologists, statisticians , responsible for Public Relations, etc.. There could also take part in the event some representatives of the pharmaceutical industry or any other person interested in the subject.
From the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Romania, Loredana Simon presented to the Congress the results of the Round Table in Romania, dated March 13, 2009. 
Thus, participants from over 20 countries of the European Community could know that the situation facing people with MS and were impressed by the work of SSMR Romania. We are thus encouraged to continue the work we started and which is supported by EMSP.
