International Day of People with Mutiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis Society in Romania joined all organizations affected by multiple sclerosis patients from around the world and especially MS Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of Bihor, which lasted between 08-27 may specific events to celebrate International Day of People with Multiple Sclerosis On May 27, 2009. International Day of People with Multiple Sclerosis is the first globally coordinated event that was celebrated Wednesday, May 27, in 61 countries, about 200 events like these being organized.
Multiple sclerosis Society of Romania, in partnership with multiple sclerosis MS Foundation of Bihor held Thursday, May 28, 2009, at 18:00,the "MS Global Dinner Party" at the restaurant Traverdi of Felix Street. Str.Princpala, no. 120/19. The event offered information on social and socio-medical services we provide for people with multiple sclerosis. We presented the spot produced by the International Federation of Persons with Multiple Sclerosis and videos about what is multiple sclerosis and how to live with multiple sclerosis?
This event has proposed to celebrate the International Day of People with Multiple Sclerosis among other tens of thousands of people affected by MS worldwide (about two million people). The event was attended by about 25 people affected by multiple sclerosis, representatives of Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of Bihor, Multiple
Sclerosis Society, the local public authorities, Ms. Councellor Florica Chereches, Committee Chair of Social Work and Family Health Child Protection Council of the City of Oradea and central public authorities, Member Mrs. Maria Peto Csilla. Ms. Csilla Peto Maria assured us that we have part of her support for future initiatives and legislative changes. The event was sponsored by Councellor Ms Florica Chereches, Chair Committee on Labor, Health, Family, Social Protection and Child Protection in Oradea Local Council. In this sense, Alba Civitas Solis Rotary Club in partnership with MS ALBA SPEROMAX have proposed to mark this day by organizing a Dinner where people with Multiple Sclerosis were invited. At this event Nechifor Radu, Gheorghe Zamfir one of his pupils was invited. This event has proposed to remove from isolation these patients by giving them a special dinner chance, anda good time to socialize for these people who are isolated from society. The event was held at Hotel Park starting at 18.00.
