Societatea de Scleroza Multipla din Romania deruleaza in perioada 01 septembrie 2006 si 31 decembrie 2006 proiectul "Skills and competences in nonprofit management of multiple sclerosis, proiect finantat prin Programul Leonardo da Vinci al Agentiei Nationale pentru Programe Comunitare in Domeniul Educatiei si Formarii Profesionale (ANPCDEFP).
Proiectul are ca obiectiv formarea unei echipe de sapte specialisti (asistenti sociali, psihologi, informaticieni), cu experienta in domeniul sclerozei multiple (fosti voluntari, actuali voluntari sau angajati), care au cunostinte medii de limba engleza, care sa participe la un schimb de experienta organizat in Marea Britanie la Societatea de Scleroza Multipla.
Echipa formata, care participa la schimbul de experienta urmeaza ca la inapoierea in tara sa eleboreze o strategie de dezvoltare a societatii nationale de scleroza multipla.
Persoanele care doresc sa se implice in acest proiect si care indeplinesc conditiile specificate anterior pot depune dosarul in componenta caruia vor intra: un curriculum vitae, copie dupa actele de studii si de identitate la adresa: str. Ady Endre, nr. 26, ap. 8, loc. Oradea, judetul Bihor, in perioada 10-15 septembrie 2006 (sau in perioada 11-14 Noiembrie pentru cel de-al doilea comunicat de recrutare, publicat pe data de 11 noiembrie 2006. BETTER MANAGEMENT IN MS
SKILLS AND COMPETENCE IN NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

Short project summary:
WHO: 7 trainers that are employee or volunteers with special competence in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) from Romanian Multiple Sclerosis Society (SSMR), that is a federation of independent nonprofit organizations of people affected by MS from Romanian. SSMR has member organization and branches in Bucharest, Dolj, Constanta, Buzau, Neamt, Sibiu, Brasov, Cluj, Hunedoara, Timisoara and develop several programs, especially information providing, counseling, National MS Registry, and long life learning for there 3000 members and potential 20000 people afected by MS estimated for Romania. The trainers working in key position of SSMR, and there tasks are the Romanian MS Networking development, training providers for member societies and branches workers and volunteers.
WHAT: Exchange mobility project for trainers in MS non-profit organization management, in order to learn and transfer in Romania the know how about NGO standards, procedures, strategy, internal management, action plan, fundraising and Help Desk concept used for Romanian networking services providers for people affected by MS. The trainers will develop as project result the 2007-2010 SSMR strategy and will organize several training sessions in Romania for SSMR member organization and National Networking.
WHY: The new 68th Govern Order from Romania (HG.68/2003), is prohibiting the activities of any services without accreditation that is received only if match several standards. For this reason we need to improve our competences and certificates according to European standards that we can find easily at our project partner that is very specialized in this specific issue. HG 68 and collateral legislation is opening also the opportunity of official partnership for our National Network, in order to develop the Romanian MS Help Desk project with official partnership by involving all stakeholders in MS field, including Governmental one. By conclusion, the project will support by 50% for SSMR institutional development and MS national Networking reforme and standards certification. All this by investing in trainers that will design all reforme back home.
WHERE: London, at the main services residence of UM MS Society, is the project location, where is developed and is located all specialized services we need to train about, like Help Desk, information department, executive structure, fundraising, MS library, events development department and many others.
WHEN: Between 15 to 28.10.2006 will take place the exchange in London and we willl start the preparation period at 1st of September 2006 and the project will be finished on 31.03.2007
OBJECTIVES:
- Organizing two weeks training session (between 15th and 28th of October 2006) for trainers of SSMR in MS nonprofit management, by working in UK MS Society, in there London main services residence, where to collect the needed Know How for, information regarding European Standards in MS services, inner structure, democracy and participation, services standards management, and fundraising.
- Creating fists draft of Romanian MS Society Development Training, between 25th and 27th of October 2006, in London at UK MS Society residence, by trainers team, including a training calendar to apply back home in Romania.
JUSTIFICATION:
European needs addressing to:
- European citizenship and Networking in MS field needs. The trainers will build European tools for Romania about civil society role for participation to decision process in European, as competent actor in European MS Movement (European Multiple Sclerosis Platform - EMSP). Trainers will develop a Romanian National Network according to European standards and expectations in order to transfer to EMSP information according to European standards expectations, in order to participate on European lobby in MS field.
National needs addressing to:
- Quality standards for social and socio-medical services in MS field. In this needs we need training for our trainers on inner management for non-profit organization like MS, inner democracy and participation, inner structure, administration and standard documents used for, organization strategy, social services standards and structure, socio-medical services standards and structure, stakeholders participation, MS networking management, all together to follow European Standards recommendations and Certification asking of HG.68/2003.
- Developing strong local and regional independent member organizations and branches of SSMR, according to new legislation and actual challenge in MS field (such as finding and supporting concrete need of direct beneficiary, people affected by MS) by benefiting from trainers sessions with special training sessions after London project period.
- Developing national strategy on MS National Networking need by involving all stakeholders and using official European standards and build a network inexistent for moment, especially with governmental cooperation with.
